JOB DESCRIPTION
- Receive, check, and respond to information regarding transportation service requests.
- Process container release orders via email with shipping lines.
- Verify documents and paperwork from the trucking team.
- Update the trucking team’s data in the company’s management system and store department documents.
- Draft official letters, contracts, and department notices.
- Reconcile and send outstanding debts with internal departments and submit end-of-month reports.
- Perform tasks assigned by direct management.
- Process payments for vendors/suppliers.
- Handle document delivery, verify, and settle trip operation expenses from the trucking team.
- Compile and summarize vehicle repair and tire replacement costs (periodically).
- Receive, verify, and respond to cost information regarding customs brokerage service requests.
- Receive, verify, and prepare customs declarations & transmit customs declaration data for shipments.
- Prepare documentation for operations staff to handle shipments (Declarations, Certificates of Origin, etc.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in the same position in the Shipping/Forwarding industry.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and provide after-hours support to customers when needed.
